We are excited to bring you this newsletter, which we hope you will find informative, interesting, and worthwhile enough to pass to others in your organization who may be interested. Our plan is to combine industry news (even if it includes our competitors, as long as it is informative), customer case studies, and a variety of other valuable tidbits.
The newsletter will be sent out quarterly. Sean Coleman, Chief Customer Officer; Debbie Ferolito, CMO; and I welcome your ideas and feedback on how to make it better.
To start with, Sean and I had a recent conversation with one customer who spoke about continuous and incremental improvements to their enterprise search implementation. They were deploying what they considered a small feature (it was a categorized type ahead) that was a quick, but large win for them. We thought this was a really great approach and now challenge all of you to find one “quick win” of your own to implement before the end of the year.

In the same conversation that Massood referred to, we started talking about 2020 planning and strategy. It was a productive conversation, so I wanted to offer something similar to anyone who would find it valuable. A 60-90 minute discussion on a variety of topics such as what other customers are doing, Microsoft Search, Elasticsearch, Azure Search and some of the AI platforms. We can also discuss your challenges and strategies for 2020 and beyond.
